Handicap Accessibility Grant

ERA currently administers a handicap accessibility program grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. Recipients of these funds can receive wheelchair ramps and indoor home modifications to improve accessibility in the home. Recipients can be homeowners or tenants, but must have a permanent documented physical disability and must fall within established low / moderate income limits. 

This grant program is open to any qualified individual whose permanent residence is within the limits of the City of Erie.
