Handicap Accessibility Grants
ERA currently administers an access rehabilitation grant from the PA Department of Economic and Community Development. Access rehabilitation grants are available to income-qualified renters and homeowners of both the City of Erie and Erie County.
Typical grant amounts are less than $10,000 for ramp construction, kitchen and bath modifications, doorway modifications and other work to allow persons with disabilities to use their home or apartment.
